  1. Hi Mom. It was great seeing you last night. Your attitude is so fantastic and your hair looked really cute like that. It was fun shopping with Dad today for all your stuff for juicing. People looked at us funny with our 40 pounds of carrots in our cart. 🙂 The organic prices really weren’t that bad — we’ll just need to figure out what to get where because the prices did vary quite a bit from place to place.

I’ll give you a call tomorrow. Hang in there and know that I’m praying for you every single night. I know you’re going to beat this thing and live to tell about it. I’m actually really excited about the story that will come out of this thing. What the enemy plans for evil – God turns around for good.

Talk to you tomorrow. Love you!

  2. Tracey, it was so sweet of you to help Dad shop for all this new organic food. The new juicer we ordered should be here by the end of this week and then Marc picks up our first Bountiful Basket on Saturday morning! I’m anxious to see the Naturopath and find out what regimine I’ll be on.

Glad you liked the hair. I NEVER get out of the shower and not blow-dry and style it. But, I learned that I can scrunch the hair in my hands and it’s kinda sorta wavy. Anyway, I’ll be doing a lot of things I’ve never done before and I’m enjoying it. And, I am happy and grateful that I will have hair to scrunch… PTL.

Thanks for all your prayers. I love you!

Will wonders never cease — even your computer-illiterate friend has found the website!! Talked about you on vacation to Barb and now we have people in Chetek Wisconsin praying for you also. Had a great relearning how to play penochle — first time I;ve played since you and Keith lived in Chillicothe when we played almost all night.

You’re always on my mind — Lots of Love

  5. Well, hello there, Denise!

It’s soooooo good to hear from you! I’ve been wondering how you were doing up in Wisconsin. I’m glad your visit with Barb was a good one… and I’m glad you talked to her about me. You know, Kiddo, you and I go back a long, long way… all the way to Eldridge St. in Washington, IL in the 1950’s when we thought that the Leave It To Beaver lifestyle really existed. LOL We’ve come a long way, Denise! And, through it all our love and friendship has grown stronger and deeper. I’ve always said there is no distance in prayer, and I also believe there is no distance in friendship either.

Oh, I’m excited about people praying for me in Chetek. That’s awesome! Keith, Jr. has me on the International House of Prayer (IHOP) prayer chain. It’s comforting to know that every hour of every day, someone somewhere in the world, is praying for me while I sleep, eat, read a book, etc. I’m just so blessed.

I’ll call you and give you details now that you are back home, but I want you to know that I’ve had my 2nd IV treatment at Dr. Hubers. My schedule is every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday… and I’m scheduled until November so far. I’m actually feeling pretty good.

Glad to hear you played some penochle. We still love to play but I don’t have the energy to pull an “all-nighter” for a while yet. But, I’ll get there. You just wait and see.

Glad you’re home all safe and sound.
    Love you loads,
    Julie 🙂
